The Hunter Foundation is dedicated to my dear friend Hunter. On June 18th, 2023 she passed away due to domestic violence at only 27 years old. She was surrounded by all her children and she will never be forgotten. This foundation will help women just like Hunter not feel alone. This foundation will offer shelter and mental health counseling. This foundation will help these women and children learn to be self-sufficient and financially stable. I want to bring our community together to help serve these women and children and protect them at all costs.
Domestic violence can be so easy for people to ignore, as it often happens without any witnesses and it is sometimes easier not to get involved. Yet, by publicly speaking out against domestic violence, together we can challenge attitudes towards violence in the home and show that domestic violence is a crime and not merely unacceptable.
